Guide Hachette 2014

A star was attributed to MT de Toumalin 2010 in the 2014 edition of the Guide Hachette; Château Toumalin 2010 is cited.
Remark: “Xavier Miravete, who became the new estate owner in 2008, produces a Merlot with a dark, rich color. The intense nose of stewed red berries, prunes, hazelnut and woodland aromas heralds a warming, supple, full-bodied taste supported by tannins which are still firm and which call for keeping for between three and five years. Recommended for a saucy meat dish. The cited Château Toumalin 2010 is rich and woody; it is structured by tannins which are still sharp, suitable for an even longer keeping.”
